Maine Computer ^Museum

Since about 1979, we have accumulated over 400 vintage computers, training devices, books and related artifacts from the 1950's through 1985. Having recently centralized four storage locations, we are at present, totally contained in one mid-Maine facility. This opportunity will better facilitate the convenient viewing and retrieval of our items. At this time, visitations are by appointment only and will remain in effect until either staff can be hired or a sufficient number of volunteers can be found.

The Vintage Computer Festival EAST 2.0 was held the summer of 2004 at the Sun Microsystems campus in Burlington, MA. If you missed this one, be sure to get out for the next one. Visit the VCF homepage at www.Vintage.org for more information about events like this on the East and West coasts. At this event, the Maine Computer Museum received a 3rd place ribbon in the Home-Brew, Kit or Educational Computer - Any Vintage category. Thank you selection committee.
